					<description>If I interpret Hitchens correctly, he's even stupider than you give him credit for; he seems to think the sack of Constantinople occurred during the First Crusade.  His claim that Muslims were the "third victim" of alleged Christian barbarity would be chronologically nonsensical if he knew the sack of Jerusalem was 105 years before the sack of Constantinople, and clearly he thinks the Crusaders who attacked the Jews were the same as those who sacked Constantinople, when in fact that was done by a ragtag First Crusade group that largely disintegrated before it reached Jerusalem.   I bet he hasn't even read Runciman.  (I admit I haven't either, although I have read Madden.)</description>
